Graduates of any public, parochial or private high school as well as home-schooled students who are residents of St. Joseph County are eligible to apply for financial aid from The Scholarship Foundation of St. Joseph County, Inc. The recipient is expected to use the grant in conjunction with other resources to meet total tuition, fees and living expenses. A recipient may choose any accredited college or university.

Preference is given to high school seniors and graduates entering their freshman years of college. Recipients may apply for continued support in following years if justified by financial need and academic progress. A student beyond the freshman year may apply or a student whose initial application was denied may reapply.

New Applicant Eligibility Requirements

2. Non-married resident of St. Joseph County,IN who is not financially or legally responsible for any dependents.
3. A citizen of the U.S. or have proof of pending naturalization.
4. Planning to attend a properly accredited undergraduate institution of higher learning.
5. Demonstrated need for financial assistance to attend college.
6. Good academic standing in high school.

   • Junior 2.75 (B-)
